Point Zéro: the hidden heart of France’s roads 📍🇫🇷

Where all French roads begin!

Ever wondered how distances between French cities are measured? The answer lies at the Point Zéro des routes de France, just in front of Notre-Dame Cathedral. 📏✨

This small yet significant marker is the official starting point for all road distances in France. When a city is said to be 100 km from Paris, that measurement is taken from this very spot!

Engraved into the stone is a compass rose with the words “POINT ZÉRO DES ROUTES DE FRANCE.”

Next time you're in Paris, try standing on it—legend has it that it brings good luck and ensures a return to the city! 🍀🏛️
