Today, the Eiffel Tower is the symbol of Paris (and maybe even the whole world!), but did you know it almost didn’t last? 😮

Built for the 1889 World’s Fair to showcase France’s industrial might, it was originally meant to be dismantled after 20 years.

But then, Gustave Eiffel had a genius idea! 🧠

He installed a radio antenna and telegraph transmitter at the top, turning the tower into a scientific and communication hub 📡.

This clever move convinced the government to keep it around, saving the tower from being torn down.

Talk about a close call! 🙌
